Quardex Algaecide

Quardex algaecide is a maintenance chemical that helps preserve clarity by preventing algae growth in pool water. Algae begin as an invisible film when water temperature rises and circulation is weak. The preventive product targets exactly that first stage, so its function is not to clean existing algae but to deny algae the chance to start.

Its logic rests on continuity: once at season opening, then at regular intervals set by the maintenance schedule, always with circulation running. Dosage follows the manufacturer's instructions. Testing the water beforehand and keeping pH between 7.2 and 7.6 and total alkalinity between 80 and 120 ppm directly affects how well the preventive works. Brushing the places where water moves slowly, such as under steps, in corners and around light niches, should not be neglected either.

The 10 kg pack is intended for pools under continuous maintenance through the season. An algaecide is not a disinfectant: it does not replace chlorine, it lightens chlorine's load.
